Ann Spencer Garden - Yin Yoga in a beautiful space

A picture is worth 1,000 words but yoga is worth a lot more than both. Come check out a very beginner-friendly yoga offering at the Ann Spencer Garden. In yin yoga the practitioner holds the poses anywhere from 1 to 3+ minutes. The poses are all restorative in nature and are mainly seated or kneeling. The longer hold allows the ligaments and tendons attached to the muscle to soften and release so you get the deepest possible stretch. After the asanas (poses) are complete I will guide you through a meditation. Come learn via experience. Classes are $10 and will not occur in case of inclement weather.
