Playlist Drop

I have a whole lot of playlists on my Spotify. Long ago I used to run a radio station and my passion for good music never faded. I tuned my discerning ear toward the task of making playlists for yoga class. Essentially the anatomy of these playlists is as follows:

  1. 5-7 minutes of music that builds in tempo and intensity

  2. 40-45 minutes of high intensity, fast, fun, engaging music

  3. 10 or so minutes of music scaling downward toward ambient, ethereal music

I tend to steer clear of Top 40 (not always) so what you will find is typically a mix of up and coming hip hop, world and rock. World music is my favorite since it can encompass the other two genres but also has a huge diversity of sounds not found in rock and hip hop.
